Decisions and Destiny
Decisions have the power to change your life. Consider this…the dreams you have realized in life to this point are those dreams that you’ve made decisions to go after. You decided to ‘go for it’ in one way or another. So powerful is decision-making that W. Clement Stone said that even bad decisions are better than no decisions at all. In a speech made in Chicago in the mid-1980s, he also proposed the radical idea that the lack of effective decision-making landed most people where they are in life today. Simply put, he said, poor people haven’t made a decision to be prosperous…fat people haven’t made a decision to be trim…sick people haven’t made a decision to be healthy and failures haven’t made a decision to be successful. W. Clement Stone says it’s just that simple!
